Mirrored Missives

A writing exercise where you face the mirror & wield your pen in solitary dialogue. Here you write a letter to yourself as perceived through the eyes of someone else. This someone in the mirror can be literally anyone from a beloved friend/family member, to a person you deem your enemy, a fellow masquerader, or the universe itself. This practice is powerfully revealing, opening our eyes wide to how sensitive we are to others' perceptions of us & how often we let external judgments influence how we choose to treat our image through positive or negative self-talk.
